Barcode scanning works on phones and tablets (iOS and Android). It’s not available on desktop since it uses the device camera.
What barcodes work
The scanner recognizes all the common formats:- Standard barcodes The ones you see on most products (UPC, EAN, Code 128, Code 39)
- QR codes Square codes that can hold more information
Scanning during checkout
When you’re creating an order:- Tap the Scan icon on the order screen
- Point your camera at the product’s barcode
- Qorelly finds the matching item and adds it to the order automatically
Scanning in inventory
You can also use the scanner when managing stock:- Open the inventory screen
- Tap the Scan icon
- Scan a product barcode
- Qorelly pulls up that item’s details current stock, reorder point, and everything else
Setting up your barcodes
For scanning to work, your items need to have a barcode or SKU saved in their profile:- Go to Menu > Items (on the web or in the app)
- Edit the item
- Add its Barcode number or SKU code
- Save
