How it works
Qorelly constantly checks whether you’re connected. If the internet drops:- A small banner appears at the top to let you know you’re offline
- You keep working normally take orders, add items, process cash payments
- Everything you do is saved right on your device
- When the connection comes back, Qorelly sends everything to the server in the background
What you can do offline
Take orders
You can do everything you’d normally do when creating an order:- Choose dine-in, takeaway, or delivery
- Pick a table (from the info already saved on your device)
- Add items with quantities and special notes
- Accept cash payments
- Complete orders
Browse your menu
Your menu items, categories, prices, and photos are all saved on the device. They refresh automatically whenever you’re online, so even without internet, your team has everything they need to take orders. What needs internet
A few things do require a connection:- Card and QR payments
- Sending booking confirmations to customers
- Seeing live order updates from other devices
- Uploading new photos
- Inviting new team members
What happens when you come back online
If anything fails to sync, Qorelly keeps trying. Nothing is ever lost your offline orders are stored until they successfully sync, whether that takes minutes, hours, or even days.
How you’ll know what’s happening
| What you see | What it means |
|---|---|
| Nothing special | You’re online business as usual |
| Offline banner | No internet right now orders are being saved on your device |
| Syncing indicator | You’re back online orders are being uploaded |
Using multiple devices
If you’re running Qorelly on more than one device (say, an iPad at the counter and a phone for table-side orders):- Each device saves its own offline orders
- When they both reconnect, they each sync independently
- The web dashboard shows the complete picture once everything is uploaded
- There are no conflicts every order has a unique reference
Works the same everywhere
Whether you’re on an iPhone, an Android tablet, or a Windows PC offline mode works identically. Orders are saved on the device and synced when connectivity returns.Tips for getting the most out of offline mode
- Cash is king offline Card payments need internet, but cash orders work perfectly
- Wait for the sync After you’re back online, give it a moment to finish syncing before you check reports
- Keep the app updated Updates often include improvements to how offline mode works
- No time limit Offline orders don’t expire. They’ll sync whenever you’re next online
